No doubt you will have read about Channel 5's recent documentary entitled 'Cyclists: Scourge of the Streets?', and if you didn't see it, it's now available on catch up.
We felt it wasn't quite as incendiary as the title first suggested but it's not exactly helpful programming. Of course it focussed on negative aspects of cycling rather than all the amazing health, social and environmental benefits, but that's to be expected. It did also highlight the idiocy of some drivers as well, and the collisions made for difficult viewing.

Fortunately for those of us who like both sides of the story to be told, national treaure Chris Boardman posted this response on Twitter. Slighty less sensational and a bit more measured, we feel!
Cyclists aren’t the ‘scourge of the streets’. They are mothers, fathers, grandparents and children all doing their bit to make Britain a healthier, greener and more liveable place.
