These are nice bands but, as noted in some other reviews, a little on the large size for some applications. On the smallest setting (assuming you don't want loose velcro overhang flapping around), these have an unstretched internal circumference of approximately 28 cm. My advice would be to measure around where you want to wear them, including clothing if that's the planned use. You probably want a little stretch so they hold in position - thus the minimum circumference they would stay in place over is probably larger than 28cm. I'm a 180cm / 5'11" man at the top of the normal bmi range. I have normally sized ankles and wrists. I wanted to use these for cycling on my wrists and ankles over bare skin and over clothing, depending on the weather. They were significantly too large for that purpose for me with the range of sizes offered by the velcro. BTR were great at issuing a speedy no-quibble refund - thanks for that. Do I recommend the product? Yes, but for armband use only for most people. I had a pretty extensive look elsewhere and it seems almost all reflective bands sold have this size problem - it makes sense that something that is suitable for arms is unlikely to also be suitable for wrists and ankles. Having bands on your ankles which are hi vis during the day and reflective at night is great for safety as your feet are moving and catch the eye. Similarly, having them on your wrists is great for indicating when cycling. BTR - perhaps you could consider offering smaller versions of these great bands?
Works well. They are made of orange elastic, with the refIective bit stuck on top. I have been putting them roumd my gloves so they are like indicators when I signal at night. On the smallest size they are a little large, especially for the children, and the reflective bit is wearing a little where they touch the hand grips but overall they're good.
On warmer evenings when I don't want to use my reflective jacket (also from BTR, also great!) these fit well on my upper arms to keep me visible. They don't get in the way of my movement when running, and stay up well. Even on their smallest size they are too big to comfortably go round my wrists/forearms, but I do have quite small arms so not such a surprise! Overall a great buy, but worth bearing in mind if they are being bought for children or smaller adults!
Am very pleased with these cycle bands and the reflective strip works very well. Feel confident that I am visible to the traffic behind me. Can certainly recommend them.
