This is the 5th generation of this style of bike bag and we have tried to improve it with each generation. One of the features we are constantly trying to improve is how it attaches to bicycles. This is challenging as bikes come in all shapes and sizes so it is almost impossible to design a bag that fits them all !
This version has 2 attachments at the front of the bag to fix to the handlebar stem and three on the underneath of the bag to attach to the frame. An improvement with this version is the first of the underneath straps has been lengthened and a clip added instead of velcro.
How the longer strap is used depends on the style of bike frame and this video demonstrates the differences
