The bag sits centrally between your hands ahead of the stem. On bikes with routed cables at the front you may need to reposition the straps — easy to do without tools.
Very stable with the 3-strap mount. Most riders report no bounce or wobble on normal roads. For heavy off-road riding a dedicated hardshell mount may be better.

United KingdomThe bag itself seems to be well made, holds my phone with its case, and also an external battery and cable so that I can charge it while using it. However, as a few other people have pointed out, the bag does not sit horizontally - it must depend on the shape of your bike. For me, I noticed that the velcro straps are far too long to get a tight fit around smaller handlebars. Thankfully my partner is quite crafty and was able to shorten the strap so that it can be made tighter and therefore sit at a more horizontal angle, instead of slipping down. With these adjustments, it's perfect, but unfortunately as it is right now might not suit you.
United KingdomI have done 1 run using this item and it performed exactly as advertised in respect of access and control of my smart phone so I could easily use the route I had downloaded. However, not yet tested in the rain. My only negative comment is the the 3 Velcro straps are effective but when secure the angle is fairly steep and I would have liked it a bit more towards horizontal making it easier to view. I achieved this by placing an item underneath but not the same as it sitting that way or even the angle being adjustable in some way. All-in-all though I am happy with the product especially considering the price which was reasonable
United KingdomI only have one coment to make and thatis - the carrier sits at an angle that is too steep for me to see my phone while riding. So I have solved the problem by placing a piece of wood between the carrier and the handle bars, so that the angle is flatter.
United KingdomNeeded a phone holder so as to be able to read the GPX on a cycle tour. This is perfect. A great price, super quality - and it was tested in torrential rain and still worked, keeping the contents dry- and has more than enough space in it for a booster power pack, the phone itself, keys, tissues, lipsalve etc etc. And a quick delivery too. It will continue to get lots of use when I get home. Highly recommended .
